Dösemealtı

Dösemealtı: These carpets are knotted with naturally dyed 100% plateau wool yarn, by Dösemealtı nomads (Yöruks) living on the plateaus around Antalya. They produce the handmade carpets called Dösemealtı, by using the pure wool and vegetal dyes they themselves make. The design reflects the nomadic taste, which is expressed in geometric patterns and a colour harmony of blue, dark green and red.
